Fins take doubleheader from Southeastern CC on Wednesday

Game 1 – 8 innings (11-3 Win)

The Dolphins had a steady pour of offense in game 1, scoring runs in 7 of the 8 innings. The Fins collected 16 total hits in the game.  

Hunter Poole went 3-for-4, Allen Brown went 3-for-5 with a double and a triple. Bryson Horney went 3-for-5, collecting 4 RBI's on the day with a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 1st inning. Tatum Marsh also homered in the contest for the first time on the season. Gabe Barnes and Caleb Smith both went 2-for-4 for the Dolphins.

Tanner Collins received the win on the mound for the Dolphins. Collins pitched 3.1 innings and recorded 3 strikeouts. Gage treadway closed things out, throwing 2 scoreless innings and also recorded 3 strikeouts.

 

Game 2 (8-4 Win)

The Dolphin offense continued to have a good day at the plate, recording 12 hits in the win. The Fins jumped on the Rams early, scoring 7 of their 8 runs in the bottom of the second inning. Brenner Gursky capped of the inning with a 3-run homerun. Bryson Horney and Roman Dilgard both lead the offense at the plate going 2-for-4 in the contest. Zane Blinson was 2-for-2 on the day.

 

Eli Crump was the winning pitcher on the mound for the Dolphins. Crump came in out of relief and pitched 2 innings, keeping the Rams offense at bay.
