The BCC Men's Basketball team was able to get a split on their weekend road trip in Region 10-D1 play. On Saturday the Dolphins made the 4.5 hour trip to Caldwell CC where they lost to the host team 87-73. The difference in the game was that the host team out rebounded the Dolphins 49 to 33 and also made 13 three point baskets to six for the Dolphins. Jahnarious Snell led the Dolphins with 16 points. One Sunday the Dolphins traveled to Gaston College where after a slow start which caused the Dolphins to trail 43-34 at the half. With increased defensive intensity in the second half the Dolphins came back to win 86-75. Leading the Dolphins were Khouri Carvey with 20 points and 9 rebounds, Sam Hood with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Trent McIntyre with 16 points and 10 assists. The Dolphins started their Region 10-D1 play with three games on the road and currently have a 2-1 Region 10-D1 record.
