
Season Ends for Cold Shooting Dolphins in Men's Basketball Region Tournament Championship Game
The #2 seeded Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team lost today in the NJCAA Region 10-D1 / Atlantic District Championship game to tournament host and #4 seed Cape Fear CC 85-65. In a battle of the two hottest teams in Region 10 heading to the contest the Dolphins, who had won six of the last seven games, were not able recover from the hot three point shooting to start the game by the Sea Devils. The Sea Devils have won nine of their last ten games. The Dolphins who had averaged 95 points per game and won their first two tournament games by an average of 34 points had their lowest scoring performance of the season against Region 10 competition in the game. The 2022-23 Dolphins, who only returned one player from 2021-22, finish the season as the runner-up for the NJCAA Region 10-D1 Regular Season and Tournament and with a final record of 20-13.
