Hot Shooting Propels Dolphins over Central Carolina CC

The Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team defeated the Central Carolina CC Cougars today at home 93-73. In a highly competitive game that included a lot of three point shooting the Dolphins hit 15 three point baskets and the Cougars hit 15. In a tight first half where the score was 25-25 the Dolphins went on a 17-0 run to open the game up. In the second half the Dolphin lead increased to 26 points. All twelve Dolphins in uniform scored. The leading scorers were Tyre Boykin with 20 points, Jaleb Grant with 17 and Nasiar Blackston with 13 and Khouri Carvey with 11. The Dolphins are off until Friday when they will host their 13th Annual Holiday Classic. The event will have teams from NC, GA, TN, VA, and PA and 11 men's and women's games over three days.
