Dolphins Drop First Game of Western Conference Road Trip

The Dolphins headed to the western part of the state to Hudson, NC to play Caldwell CC on Satuday. In a battle of the only two teams that were undefeated in Region 10-D1 the Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team fell to Caldwell CC 77-63. The Dolphins were led by Jaleb Grant with 18 points followed by Kevon Vanderhorst and Tyree Bracey with 12. The score difference was five points game with five minutes left in the game until the home team pulled away late to determine the final score. The major difference in the game was at the foul line where the host team shot 32 and the Dolphins shot four. The Dolphins who have been playing without starting point guard Nick Burns and center Khouri Carvey for the past three games due to injuries will play at Gaston College tomorrow at 2:00 pm. The game will be held at Ashbrook High School.
