The Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team defeated rival Cape Fear CC at home on Wednesday night 89-76. After a slow start the Dolphins found the right combination to lead at halftime 45-32. In the second half the Dolphins used their depth and defensive pressure to lead as much as 22 points before the visitors made a run to determine the final score. In a balanced attack the Dolphins were led by Jaleb Grant with 19 points, Cam Oates with 16, Nasiar Blackston with 16, Tyre Boykin with 12 and Kevin Vanderhorst with 11. In their earlier meeting the Dolphins defeated the Sea Devils in Wilmington 92-80. The Dolphins are currently second in the region standings with two region games remaining.
