Dolphins Use Balanced Attack On The Road To Shoot Pass Wake Tech And Finish Conference Play

The Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team defeated Wake Tech CC on the road 107-89 on Wednesday night. The 107 points is the most points scored by the Dolphins this season. In this battle to clinch second place in Region-D1 standings. Twelve of the thirteen Dolphins in uniform scored and the scoring leaders were Kevon Vanderhorst and Tyre Boykin with 15 points, Khouri Carvey and Tyree Bracey 14 points, and Cam Oates 12. With the win the Dolphins will be the number two seed in the Region 10-D1 tournament beginning next Thursday at Catawba Valley CC in Hickory, NC. The Dolphins have one out of conference game on Saturday at 4 pm versus Franklin Prep. The Dolphins will celebrate their sophomore class at that game. It was great to have Brunswick CC Basketball Alumni and Class of 2023 members Devon Bristow, Jahnarious Snell both who play at Winston Salem State University and Trent McIntye who plays at Shaw University in attendance to check out the game as well.
