The Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team kicked off the Tyrek Coger Classic with a dominant 93-53 victory over South Georgia Technical College (Americus, GA) on the campus of Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC. Despite being outsized by the Jets, the Dolphins showcased their sharp shooting, hitting 17 three-pointers in the win. With a lineup of just nine players due to injuries, eight of them managed to connect from beyond the arc. Armani Henderson and Tyrone Barbee led the Dolphins with 17 points each, Blake Bartney with 13, Derrick Green with 10. Henderson tied a nearly 20 year old record with 9 steals in the win.
