In a thrilling matchup on Wednesday night, the Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team fell to Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, 85-83. The game echoed the teams' first meeting, where the Dolphins triumphed by two points on a last-second tip-in. This time, it was the Sea Devils who sealed the win with a putback of their own, scoring with just four seconds remaining. The Dolphins' final shot to win the game missed, leaving the Sea Devils victorious on their home court.

Leading the charge for the Dolphins were Derrick Green, who tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds, Landon King with 18 points, Cam Oates contributing 17 points, and Armani Henderson adding 11 points. Despite the loss, the Dolphins remain in first place in the Region 10-D1 standings with three Region games left to play.
